I've been getting that late summer/early autumn feeling this week. A few blooms persist -like the Cichorium intybus above- but the garden is full of perennials going to seed helped on their way by the recent drought conditions.
 The drought does seem to have broken (in London at least) with a fair amount of rain in the past 10 days; scorched lawns and wilted borders have suddenly become green again.
